What is laser cutting machine?

The laser cutting machine is a tools which is used for cutting metal and non metal. The working principle of the laser cutting machine is as follows. Firstly, the laser source emits the disordered laser, and then through the optical path system, the disordered laser is integrated into a laser beam. The laser beam strikes the surface of the material, causing the material to reach the melting point or boiling point, while the high-pressure gas(such like Oxygen or Nitrogen) coaxial with the beam blows away the molten or vaporized metal. Along with the beam and the material relative position movement, finally causes the material to form the cutting seam, thus achieves the cutting goal.

Types of laser cutting machine

1. Based on different materials, we divide the cutting machine into metal cutting machine and non-metal cutting machine. Currently, on the market, more and more factories prefer to use fiber laser cutting machine to cut metal, such like stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, brass, copper, etc, and CO2 laser cutting machine to cut non-metal, such like wood, acrylic, MDF, PVC, etc.
2. Based on different laser generator, we divide the cutting machine into fiber laser cutting machine, CO2 laser cutting machine and YAG laser cutting machine. For cutting metal, YAG laser cutting machine is the first generation technology, and CO2 laser cutting machine is the second generation technology, and fiber laser cutting machine is the third and the newest generation technology.
3. Based on the output power of laser source, we divide fiber laser cutting machine into low middle power machine from 500W to 2000W), middle power machine(3000W to 8000W), and high power machine(over 12KW). Different power machine focus on different area, in industrial area, they often use high power machine, and in advertising area, they often use middle power and low power machine.
4. Based on metal sheet area, we divide laser cutting machine to standard working area machine and big size laser cutting machine. Big working size machine working area is often over 12000mm2500mm, and standard working size machine is often 30001500mm, 4000*2000mm, etc.
5. Based on shapes of metal, it divide to metal sheet laser cutting machine, metal tube laser cutting machine, 3D laser cutting machine and five axis laser cutting machine.
